Foreword

In recent years, we've all seen how AI has started to show up in many aspects of our lives. As a technology-focused team, we've been following this evolution from the very beginning, experimenting and building in-house tools to boost our productivity and constantly thinking about how to turn these advances into real products.

During this time, we've seen many AI services appear and disappear, promising product photography and a thousand other things. Many of them simply didn't work as expected; they only showed carefully cherry-picked examples, which is all too common with this kind of service. They show you a handful of beautiful examples and, when you try with your own images, nothing works as it should.

As you may know, our main focus here at RandomControl is in jewelry visualization, and with each new AI iteration we've continued refining what we wanted to offer you as a product. We firmly believe that AI is a powerful tool and will become even more so, but it's up to us to create products that truly solve problems and are genuinely worth paying for. Our goal is to stay away from hype, bring ideas down to earth, and give solution to problems that used to require a lot of effort, time, and money.

That's how Bijify! was born, aiming to revolutionize the world of jewelry photography. Allowing you to place your jewelry on a model and create still-life photographs of your pieces in a way that is easy, intuitive, and equally important: fun.

Jewelry photography

The process of doing jewelry photography is often long and tedious. It requires knowledge that not everyone has. Good lighting, good composition... without these, the photos look amateur and fail to stand out in such a competitive sector. Of course, you also need to invest in equipment: a good camera, a place to shoot your photos, props, decor, stands... and it becomes even more complicated for on-body photography, which is often only accessible to production teams that hire models, wardrobe, locations...

With Bijify! all these problems disappear, and a process that used to be almost unreachable becomes as easy and playful as a game.

Not just AI

Today, you can ask AI to do many things, but you have to be precise in your instructions and you need to know how to talk to it. Most of the time, the real problem is what is commonly called the "blank canvas". i.e., not even knowing where to start. You have your jewelry photo that you took as best you could, but you don't know how to improve it or what result you'd really like to achieve.

In Bijify! we have hundreds of Inspiration Templates where you can see real examples that you can directly use with your own jewelry to get equally strong results. From there, you can tweak the options to change many characteristics of the photo and get the result you want, with the system guiding you through every step so that everything is easy to understand. Start by choosing the type of jewelry in your photo, then choose the type of image (on-body or still-life), then pick the point of view, closer or further away, the model's features, gestures, pose, clothing, location, lighting... all with intuitive presets that open up an infinite world of possibilities. On top of that, for each option you can write your own custom ideas if you want, in an organized and structured way, so you can reproduce that same look whenever you like.

We've tested Bijify! extensively and, despite we can't promise 100% success when it comes to AI, we are absolutely proud of the product we've built and the results are consistent enough to be considered a truly valuable tool.
